The Concert for Cumberland Heights presents Josh Turner on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at the Ryman Auditorium, located in  "Music City USA" aka: Nashville, TN.
One of country music’s most recognizable hit-makers earning numerous CMA, ACM and GRAMMY nominations since the release of his debut album, Long Black Train, Josh Turner has sold more than five million albums and garnered four No. 1 hits. Turner is also one of the youngest members of the Grand Ole Opry, inducted in 2007.
A Hannah, S.C. native, Turner has been songwriting and performing since he was a young child. In April 2014, Turner released his first book, Man Stuff: Thoughts on Faith, Family, and Fatherhood. The book is centered on his Christian faith, with Turner telling stories and revealing lessons learned throughout his life as a father, husband, son, brother, and friend.
The Concert for Cumberland Heights raises money for the John Hiatt Adolescent and Young Adult Treatment Fund at Cumberland Heights. Co-chairs for this year’s event are Cynthia and Dave Arnholt.
We are proud to have presented incredibly gifted artists through the years. Our headliners, while too numerous to mention here, have seen some of the greatest artists in their musical fields.
Because of outstanding volunteer involvement the evening has developed into a special annual event on the Nashville social calendar raising almost $2.5 million for adolescent and young adult patient care.

The Concert for Cumberland Heights began in 1996. Singer/songwriter John Hiatt serves as host of the event each year, with well known headliners performing at the 2,400 seat historic Ryman Auditorium. The Concert is the largest single source of income for our adolescent and young adult treatment program and has raised almost $2.5M since its inception. John Hiatt’s public stance about his own recovery from alcohol and drug abuse has been courageous and awe-inspiring. John understands the addiction process and that it ultimately affects teenagers’ families, friends, and school acquaintances. With outstanding volunteer involvement, the Concert has become an annual event on the Nashville social scene.
